In April, Utah State University marked the 100th anniversary of A–Day, one of the most favored traditions held by Aggies of all ages. Originally a day for students and faculty to clean up campus, A–Day has now expanded to an entire week of service, activities and honored traditions. This year, it all began Sunday with students street painting the A–Day theme, and was capped off Friday with Day on the Quad and True Aggie Night. Throughout the week various other service projects and events took place, including the annual midnight 5K run, highway clean–up, and the Senior Celebration. Snowy days during the week gave way to a beautiful Friday, just in time for Day on the Quad, where campus clubs, departments, local businesses and thousands of students gathered to enjoy spring in Cache Valley. And at midnight, hundreds of Aggies puckered up to become True Aggies, making the time honored rite of passage part of their own cherished experience at Utah State. Above Dry Canyon, the “lighted A upon the hill” was visible throughout the valley, thanks to special efforts made by Sigma Chi Fraternity and the Student Alumni Association. But perhaps the best part of USU's 100th A–Day celebration and True Aggie Night, is that you can now relive it all by visiting the Student Alumni Association website at www.usu.edu/saa/.

Beautiful spring weather makes for a perfect Day on the Quad, only one of several events during the 100th
A–Day celebration.
