VoiceMale
Young Alumni of the Year
This all-male a cappella group, originally composed of nine, began performing in 1994 at Utah State University's LDS Institute of Religion. In the fall of 1996, the group was reduced to its current six members: Mike Bearden, John Huff, Phil Kesler, John Luthy, Richard McAllister and Mike Willson.
The six men and their families now live in Utah, Alabama and South Carolina. Even though they work in such diverse fields as academia, graphic design, commercial real estate, accounting, marketing and computer technology, group members continue to gather together to enjoy singing.
VoiceMale is known for its smooth harmonies, amazing percussions and quirky humor. The group has performed at concerts, corporate events and at a variety of other venues. VoiceMale acted as special guest at USU's 50th Anniversary Robins Awards in the spring of 2008.
